Virgil L. Gilman Trail
The Virgil Gilman Trail is an 11.2-mile trail constructed on two abandoned railways. Its western terminus is in the Village of Sugar Grove, and it connects at its eastern terminus to the Fox River Trail in Aurora. The Fox River is crossed on a covered bridge and the trail continues for another two miles to its trailhead at Waubonsee Community College.
